After joining Andrews in 2019, I started at the bottom doing whatever needed to be done and slowly learned the industry from the ground up. When the company joined the Landscape Collective, there was naturally some uncertainty at first, but it quickly became clear that the goal was to create opportunities for people across the organization. With support from leaders, teams, and experts across the Collective, I’ve been able to grow faster than I ever expected. Today I’m stepping into the next phase of my career as Branch Manager at Strauser’s Lancaster location—an exciting opportunity for both me and my family and a role I’ve been working toward since the day I started.
When Elevations joined the Landscape Collective, there was naturally some anxiousness around the prospect of change after working with the previous ownership for more than 14 years. I had started as a superintendent and was serving as senior account manager at the time of the acquisition. As the transition unfolded, the changes introduced strengthened many of the systems already in place and helped position the team for continued growth. That progress recently led to my promotion to Branch Manager. Being part of a larger collective has opened doors and created new opportunities for my career to continue progressing.
After joining Schill through the acquisition of GrassCor, I had the opportunity to help guide our Cincinnati teams through the transition while serving as HR Director. That experience opened the door to my growth into the Regional HR Generalist role supporting Schill’s largest region. Working alongside our five Cincinnati branches showed me the power of being part of a united organization built on shared values, trust, and a commitment to supporting our people. The trust placed in me has allowed me to expand my support beyond my region and assist teams across other states. Today, I’m proud to help support new acquisitions as they join the organization and ensure their teams feel welcomed, supported, and connected from day one.
